Finished Comp Task 1!

I have now finished (hopefully!) workling on this blog, which is basically what I needed to do to pass Competency Task 1 of the Create Web Pages module.

I do intend to keep updating into the future, though what the content will be remains unclear...

I found this FaceBook page whilst browsing my local library website - Yarra Plenty Regional Library (http://yprl.vic.gov.au/).

It's all about getting feedback from the public about how they want their libraries to look like in the future.

This Is a Beaut Blog!!!

I love this blog!

Why? Well, here's a few reasons...

• What a great name (taken from Groucho Marx's quote "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.") 
• The graphics on this blog's pages are outstanding - very eye-catching & cool 
• It's linked with a great book review website, and seems to be kept up-to-date pretty regularly 
• It promotes Australian literature, which is very important

Neil Young

One of my favourite musicians is Neil Young.

Prior to releasing his latest album, Americana, he released a few songs from the album as videos.

This one is for "Oh Susanna" and is really interesting - is the footage authentic?
